Karma & Its Cycle

We understood fairly in previous heading about  Free Will & Destiny and now let us understand about Karma.

Karma is a sanskrit word which is an ancient Hindu language known to be the mother of all languages too. Karma in sanskrit means action / work / performance through which one gains experience.

As you know by now after reading the other topics under Spiritual Knowledge on this website, a soul, which is a high vibrational being, when it descends into a physical body of low vibrational gross material manifest, looses its vibrational frequency from higher to lower, for the soul to be in sync with the gross body's low vibration, for it to be able to stay in it. In doing so, through loss of vibration, it tends to forget who it is, which is again voluntary being a part of life plan, and thinks that it is the body itself and not the soul.

Soul has also been bestowed with a mind of its own, as we know. This mind has no independent identity of its own and its existence is due to the soul itself and the mind is supposed to be the slave of the soul and listen and do what soul tells it to do. Now, soul being in a body in the world of duality and looking around itself in this world, it observes other bodies and beings too and soul's mind thinks that the others are separate from itself and gets into thought frequency level of duality.

This stage gives birth to Ego of the soul's mind which thinks itself as separate from others as it likes to have its own individual identity or otherwise there is no existence of mind independently on its own. This is where a tug of war begins between the soul and mind wherein the mind is always trying to make itself a master and enslave soul in its web trapping it.

The soul's physical parents, relatives,friends and society also plays a greater role in conditioning and instilling fears and belief systems in the soul's mind that all are separate and there is a fight for survival of the fittest. This instills lot of fears in soul's mind giving rise to its insecurity and becomes fully engulfed and drowned into the illusionary world of duality created by its mind. The mind creates lot of chattering through contradicting thoughts arising out of illusory duality and conceals the soul from experiencing silence and its own bliss.

Duality is illusory because in the spiritual world, all are One and are interconnected through the matrix of Unconditional Love of Oneness. But to experience knowledge, duality is necessary and hence we come to experience our knowledge in this world of illusory duality.

Now, to clearly understand the cycle of Karma, first we have to understand that we all are souls and soul is an energy. Every energy vibrates at different frequencies manifesting into different forms. Similarly, a thought, emanating from the mind of the soul too, is an energy which vibrates at particular frequency depending on the quality of the thought.

To understand Karma in terms frequency's characteristics, let us assume that you have tuned into a particular frequency of a radio station on the radio, say its frequency is 95.5 Mhz and you can only listen to certain types of songs, which are to your liking and are emanating from that frequency. Now, on the other radio station, having different frequency channel, say 99.5 Mhz, they are playing songs which are different to the existing one you are listening to, which are not of your liking. So, to listen to the songs you like you will have to tune in to 95.5 Mhz frequency and you will not tune into 99.5 Mhz. Right?

This means that, a soul being a vibratory energy being itself and the thoughts in its mind being an energy too, are also having a vibrational property which are in turn always attracting types of circumstances and experiences in life the soul's mind thinks about.

For example, if a soul's mind always thinks about fear then it is vibrating with frequency of fear, say 81 Mhz and so it will always face the circumstances and situations in life which are fearful as it's thoughts in mind are vibrating at that frequency and will face events vibrating at that frequency of fear only, which is 81 Mhz. Got it?

In doing so, a soul's mind is always creating similar situations in life, due to fear, which is the first cause resulting into reacting in the same fearful manner everytime, unconsciously, in unawareness, which is effect of the first cause. So here the cause is fear and the effect is reaction out of fear.

In this state of conditioned mind, filled with fears and beliefs, it is always in the mode of attack or defense due to which the individual starts behaving and reacting monotonously in certain manners to any given situation or circumstances and people in life. All these, results out of the feeling of separateness from the other, an illusory duality. Everytime someone does or says something, to which one's ego-mind is not agreeing, it always feels a deep urge within to take revenge or make the situation right the next time, building up further never ending desires.

All these actions, reactions, fears and belief systems an individual goes through over and over in all the lifetimes, along with the deep emotional impact of it, are embedded permanently in the part of its mind itself known as the subconscious mind making the individual habitual about it creating an invisible web of Karma around it just like a spider. 

Can you imagine the impact of these unconscious, unaware acts, a soul is going through due to the fear and cunning mind's ego? The main culprit here is the mind which creates illusory duality due to which fear and belief systems are developed and then one gets trapped into the web of never ending cycle of repetitive Karma.

In terms of cause and effect of Karma, all reactions due to conditionings, are the first effect of the first cause and because it is having a vibrational frequency of similar or higher bandwidth, it reacts again in the same manner which in turn becomes the second cause of the first fear instilled in soul's mind and as a second effect of which, the soul's mind again manifests similar circumstances in its life.

This is because the soul's mind through its thoughts is continuously vibrating at the same frequency of fearful thoughts created by its mind. Thus, the mind of the soul creates a complete, never ending, web of cause and effects, life after life, till the time soul gets saturated with similar painful suffering incidences in life and realises the cause of the fears created by its mind, due to duality. The soul then begins to transcend its fears, beliefs etc after self realisation of the truth that we all are One. At this stage now, the soul wants to become the master of its mind and get out of its slavery and starts taking reigns of its consciousness through awareness and begins to get untangled from the web of repetitive Karma.

This vibrational nature is the base of our sayings -

What goes around comes around or reap as you sow.

Hence as you understand from above, Karma is not a punishment or a retributive action as explained by some. It is just defining an action / work / performance leading to certain experiences based on one's vibrational state of thought which comes back to you because the thoughts are vibrating at that frequency.

Hence remember that there is no one in the spiritual realm who holds a soul responsible for the Karma (experience) it manifests and punishes the soul accordingly in same life or next lifetime. It is only the thoughts in the soul's mind, that creates the circumstances and experiences in its life after life as per its thought frequency levels. Everyone should be aware of this because in spiritual realm, there is only unconditional love and no one, including GOD, interferes with any soul's free will as it is only through free will, we all can have infinite experiences expanding GOD's consciousness infinitely forever...

This is the Karma & Its cycle and to get out of it, awareness is the only key.
