How to Master various Vices of mind?

There are always three states of existence, the Positive, the Negative and the Neutral which we also call the Center or the state of Equilibrium. Similarly there are always three types of people and circumstances which are always orienting either around the Positive, Negative or the Neutral.

A soul, as you know, is always pure and full of love which is the core nature of a soul as it knows that we all have come from One source and that we all are One. We also know from the previous headings under Spiritual Knowledge that the mind is endowed to the soul which acts similar to the processor of a computer which processes the thought commands put in by the soul and the mind manifests the thought command of the soul in the physical reality for the soul to experience the same. We also know that since mind is not having its own independent identity, although we all are One, it tries to establish its own independent identity by playing the game of duality through induction of the thoughts of fear and separation induced by the society, family, peers, friends and other fellow beings thus taking control of the soul's pure intentions, pushing the soul into the process of birth and death through Karma & Its Cycle.

This way a soul gets entrapped by its mind into this game of duality thoughts and while being engrossed in the thoughts of duality it also tends to wear an attitude of either of the three states, namely, an Egoistic King, a Beggar or an Emperor.

The attitude of an Egoistic King can be defined as the one who always knows how to give to the other but in a proud and Egoistic manner in which if any of the other individual wants to give to the King, then he will reject the same without understanding the love and compassion of the giver and with an Ego that he does not need the same as he is a King.

The attitude of a Beggar can be defined as the one who always feels the lack of everything in life, be it materialistic, emotional, love or self-importance. An individual wearing a Beggar attitude, can be the one who has all the abundance but still feels it lacking and has greed for more or it can be the one who does not in fact, have it in reality. This individual with a Beggar attitude will always tend to ask or expect or snatch away or steal or cheat other individual to achieve the same being a Beggar.

The attitude of an Emperor can be defined as the one who not only knows how to always give to others with humbleness and appreciates others for accepting what he is giving, which in fact makes him an Emperor. The Emperor also knows to humbly accept what the other offers him, through the understanding of compassion and the feelings of others, in Oneness with All That Is and is never judgemental about anyone. An Emperor also knows how to protect itself from someone who is taking away which is not theirs and thus always maintains itself and the circumstances in a state of balance, a state of Equilibrium.

Now, let us understand through the medium of duality, what are the vices created by the mind of an individual and how it makes the soul wear one of these three attitudes through the game of duality.

The mind of an individual is conditioned by the society, parents, peers, family and friends by instilling of fears in it that the world is a place only for the people who can survive being fittest and every other person out there is going to trample them if they will not become the fittest against them. This fear makes an individual think the other individual being an enemy and separate from itself and makes the individual always in the defense attitude as they fear that the opposite individual is supposed to always attack them and thus creates frictional situations in life which is due to this thoughts of duality, making other individuals separate.

This Fear of separation once instilled, firstly creates a Frustration amongst individuals interacting within themselves, as their point of opinions differ and they tend to immediately take an offence due to their individual Ego created by their mind. The mind is always in mode of defense arising from fear of attack and this makes them blind towards the opinion of others, rather than respecting the same as a secondary creative opinion of the other on the same matter of interaction. This Fear coupled with Frustration, creates another negative thought of Expectation in the individual demanding that the other person must understand and implement what they are trying to express and this thought is dominant in both or all the individuals involved in this interaction creating Frustrations and Expectations amongst each other making them bang their own heads with ownself's Frustrations.

The same secondary opinions if viewed through vision of Oneness, can be viewed as another side of the same coin and as one of the creative perception from the so called others.

But instead, the cunning mind tends to take the soul on the route of duality thoughts through Egoistic attitude and creates Frustration and then Anger due to Expectation arising out of Ego. Hence, Anger is the byproduct of one's Ego and so is the Expectation. This Expectation arising out of Frustration, now converted into an Anger now forcefully demands that the so called other individual must listen to their opinion and give importance to the same or otherwise it will turn into Hatred and Jealousy amongst themselves which in turn will become destructive for everyone involved, but the most affected individual in this state of Ego, is the only the self.

If you understand the above very clearly, you now know that firstly an illusory Ego is created by mind through separation of self from others after which Fear is created in mind by others limited perceptions and then this Fear manifests into duality or separateness from others which in turn creates Frustration, leading to Expectation, leading to Anger, Hatred, and Jealousy. The main root cause here, is the Ego which adheres to Fear created by mind and the second biggest culprit due to it, is the Expectation.

These thought processes of the mind makes a soul wear the attitudes of either being an Egoistic King, a Beggar or an Emperor.

An Expectation from one's own mind, always makes a person wear an attitude of being a Beggar as they are begging from others for behaving as per their expectations.

Can a Beggar give anything to another Beggar the same thing they are begging? NO.

Now one might ask, then shouldn't we expect anything from others?

The answer to this is NO.

The reason is that we all are divine souls from the same source, which we call GOD and we all are One in essence as the same GOD is residing within us and through this different forms and diversity, GOD is experiencing the Infinite knowledge through us. This experiencing of Infinite knowledge can only be done through Infinite perceptions emanating from different individuals which in fact is expressed by GOD Itself. Now, we also know that GOD has given us Free Will of our own so that we can express our views as per our perceptions and experience what we want to experience which is directly experienced by GOD Itself. So, just like you are expressing your views as per your perception and in the same way that you want others to understand your viewpoint, you also have to understand other's view points as per their perceptions and let them choose what they want to experience in life, just like you love to choose your own experiences in your life as per your perceptions. This approach will make you an individual having an attitude of an Emperor. Expecting from others to act as per your perceptions also makes you wear an attitude of being a Beggar.

Even while being in love with anyone, be it your lover, spouse, family or friend, one tends to expect from the other certain types of behaviours and actions as per their own perceptions and do not respect the perception and choice of the person whom they claim to love tremendously. This is actually not love but it is like a trade off or a business deal with conditional strings attached that only if you behave in certain way that I like, then only will I love you or will I be happy and so on. Also when one individual loves another, there is an expectation arising from within that the other person also should love them back and then only they will be happy. In many cases both the individuals are demanding love from each other and this attitude also makes both of them wear an attitude of being a Beggar and both of them are begging from each other.

Do you think that both of them will be able to give to each another anything? NO.

This is because both of them are lacking the same thing as their cups are empty of love and they are begging from the each other and makes them both wear an attitude of a Beggar.

If an individual is jealous of the other who is having what they, themselves are not having, this also makes them a Beggar as they are always driven with anger due to jealousy which in turn is wishing or expecting to take away from the other or deprive them of what they are jealous of. This also, is an attitude of a Beggar.

So you must be asking, as to what is the moral of the story?

Always remember in life, that any person or any circumstance in your life are just to make you realise who you can be in life, an Egoistic King, a Beggar or an Emperor?

We all are ONE and the so called individual labelled as the "other" by your mind is in fact, not the "other" but yourself only as we all come from same source, GOD, who are expressing their opinion with different creative possibility for the same opinion you have expressed creatively as one of the possibility. Now the reason for this diverse opinions is due to the fact that for experiencing a particular aspect in life, there are endless possibilities and one must respect other individual's opinion, and give them a freedom to experience their life in their own way just like the way you want your freedom to experience your life as per your perceptions. In doing so, you will be wearing an attitude of being an Emperor and not a Beggar who expects them to act as per their opinions or an Egoistic King who will reject them through emotional means by displaying own's superiority over others.

So, whenever you are confronted by an individual or circumstance in life, it is for you to think deeply and decide as to who are you wanting to be in your life in front of that individual or circumstance, whether to be an Egoistic King, a Beggar or an Emperor?

If you want to wear an attitude of an Emperor, then all your vices will just vanish and will never appear again and even if it does in your thoughts, then in a subtle way it surely strips you away from being an Emperor and makes you either an Egoistic King if you are thinking of the "other" as a beggar in discrimination and condemnation due to your Ego or otherwise it will make you a Beggar, if you are expecting from "others" after giving what they want.

Moreover, one must also remember in ONENESS with All That Is, that every "other" is not an "other" but "you" itself as We All Are ONE and under this ONENESS when you are giving to the "other", you are in fact giving to yourself only and if you are not allowing the "other" to express their own perception and live their life as per the experience they choose to do so, you are in fact disallowing yourself only and you will as a result will face similar consequences in life as the law of Karma, what goes around, comes around, is always in force. The more you give and allow the flow of life for "others", the more you will get the same which you like in your life and the more the resistance or sorrow you create for others, the more of it will be faced by you.

So what do you want to be has to be decided by yourself.

An Egoistic King who becomes imbalanced by creating an imbalance in its own life through its own Ego?

OR

A Beggar who is becomes imbalanced by creating imbalance in its own life through it own expectations?

OR

An Emperor who always remains balanced in its own life through the art of giving, accepting and allowing others and creates abundance and bliss for self and others under Oneness?

Its for you to decide as it is you who has to choose what you want to be and to reap in life in return for what you are sowing. So always ask yourself who you want to become or who you want to be, whenever you are confronted by an individual or a circumstance which makes you feel frustrated in your life, as you have all the Free Will at your disposal.

Hence, the most powerful question in your life when faced with confrontations should be

WHO AM I ?

An Egoistic King, A Beggar or An Emperor

And remember always that GOD is the biggest example of being an Emperor as GOD never expects or asks, or forces anyone as everyone is equal and loves everyone equally unconditionally, allowing everyone to experience life as per their perceptions.

Choose to be an Emperor

and your vices will vanish.
